5. Golden State Warriors (26-17, Last week: #2)

For a team supposedly sound defensively, the Warriors have an addiction to giving up 30-point quarters. They let the Pacers shoot 55 percent in the first quarter Monday night on the way to a dispiriting 102-94 home loss in which they trailed by 20 at one point. They need to get back to playing like they were in their winning streak, starting with helping Steph Curry get out of this minor slump.

6. Los Angeles Clippers (29-14, Last week: #7)

The Clippers signed Hedo Turkoglu. Shouldn’t there be some sort of penalty for that? There is still a lot of noise around Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan playing together and for what it’s worth, I think Doc Rivers is one of the few coaches in the NBA who could figure out how to play them together.
