3. Oklahoma City Thunder (31-10, Last week: #5)

Kevin Durant’s 54 point inferno against Golden State might just have tipped the scales in his favor in the MVP race especially as LeBron’s Heat continue to rack up losses to mediocre teams. Durant now has 7 consecutive 30-point games and can boast a 12-game streak that ranks among the ten best in league history.

Oh, and Russell Westbrook is apparently surprising people in his pre-game workouts. So there’s that.

ORtg: 106.5, DRtg: 98.5

4. San Antonio Spurs (32-9, Last week: #3)

Dropped a game at home against Portland which we’ll forgive because we know the Spurs coast through to the playoffs these days. They continue to find great reserve players as Nando De Colo and Aron Bynes are both capable players.

ORtg: 108.2, DRtg: 99.2
