Cavs News: Loss in Toronto, Cedi not an alien, trade rumors
The Cavs played their fourth game in six nights in four different cities last night, losing 100-88 in Toronto. Playing without Jarrett Allen and Kevin Love the Cavs weren’t able to muster enough offense. They shot 37.8 percent and a simply dreadful 18.4 percent from 3-point range.
Donovan Mitchell was completely stymied by Defensive Player of the Year candidate OG Anunoby, scoring just eight points. Darius Garland and Evan Mobley both had double-doubles, with Garland scoring 18 points and 10 assists and Mobley 18 points and 15 rebounds. Anunoby had 20 of his own to lead the Raptors.

Sunday night in Detroit everyone watching the Cavs come from behind to beat the Pistons were subjected to a bizarre sight. Cedi Osman was fouled with a hard shot to the face and went to the court, and when the camera zoomed in there was a bright yellow liquid pouring onto the court. Yesterday on King James Gospel we wrote about a couple of trade ideas. Gage Morgan went into a three-team deal that would move some big-name ball-handlers around the league and land a couple of 3-and-D wings in Cleveland. Then, Josh Cornelissen shared a fun trade idea proposed by Bleacher Report that would bring a fan favorite home to the Cavs.

In the nightcap, the Indiana Pacers went into Crypto.com Arena and beat the Los Angeles Lakers on a buzzer-beater from Andrew Nembhard. Tyrese Haliburton has 40 assists and 0 turnovers in his last three games! Of more concern for the Lakers, however, is that LeBron James left with an ankle injury.
