Last season, Kevin Love finished in 2nd place in the 6th Man of the Year race, ultimately losing out to the Miami Heat’s Tyler Herro. However, that was a sign of Love’s resurgence, as the past few seasons, his production and value has plummeted, seemingly. Now, he’s one of the most valuable locker room presences and arguably the 5th-best player on the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Now, the Cavs have a star-studded roster, on paper. I keep mentioning in each of my articles, but the Cavs do have 3 All-Stars from last season, and Evan Mobley does look like an All-Star talent in the making. Will anyone on the Cavs win MVP? Personally, I doubt it, but it’s not literally impossible. I’ve seen harder things happen. For example, Marc Gasol won DPOY in 2013, while being on the All-Defensive Second Team.

With the newest addition of Donovan Mitchell, the Cavaliers should be a force to be reckoned with in the NBA. J.B. Bickerstaff proved last season that he was a very solid head coach, ranking 5th in the Coach of the Year race. Ultimately, I think Bickerstaff does have a solid chance of getting the award, as he ultimately helped the Cavs rank 5th in defense last season.

Last season, Evan Mobley already earned All-Defensive Team votes, and personally, I believed he should’ve made All-Defensive Second Team. Maybe I am biased, but his defense was definitely top 10 in the league, in my eyes.

Anyway, without further ado, here are the Cavaliers who have the best chance of winning each respective NBA award in the 2022-23 season.
