2 goals for Cavs’ Caris LeVert in the 2022-23 season
By Zane Harris
#1: Play in 70 games
The final goal for Caris LeVert this season is to play in 70 games throughout the regular season. Injury concerns are one of the biggest downsides to LeVert. It is something that is really unfortunate because it is out of his control, however, he is a player that the Cavaliers need on the court and able to play for the team to be able to achieve their goals.
Up to this point in his career, LeVert has only played in 70 or more games once in his six-year career. In total, he has only been able to play in around 65% of regular season games. With injuries being one of the main things that held the Cavaliers back from making the playoffs last year, it is essential that the team stays healthy this year.
If LeVert is able to reach the 70-game mark this season, it would mean incredible things for the Cavaliers. He brings a lot to the team on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he will provide the Cavaliers with guaranteed bench scoring every night. On the defensive side, LeVert is a tough wing defender.
Moreover, if LeVert can meet these suggested goals, it’d go a long way for him and the Wine and Gold overall, especially in what is a crucial time for him. He is currently set to be expiring, but could be a potential extension candidate.
