The second-best game that Andre Drummond had during his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers came against the Philadelphia 76ers in their matchup on Dec. 27, 2020. In this game, Drummond totaled 24 points on 61.1 percent shooting from the field, 14 total rebounds (six being offensive rebounds), three assists, three steals and two blocks.
The Cleveland Cavaliers won this game with a final score of 118-94. Although Joel Embiid did not play for the 76ers, this was still a very noteworthy outing by Drummond.
Dwight Howard suited up as the starting center for the 76ers against the Cavaliers. Howard despite being a veteran, is still an incredible rebounder and suitable paint protector. For Drummond to still dominate the boards and shoot as well as he did in the paint speaks to how well he played in this game.
Drummond had the best plus-minus for the Cavaliers out of any starters with a +27. Along with this, Drummond led the team in points, rebounds, steals and blocks.
Along with this, Drummond led the overall game in terms of points, rebounds, and steals. With the 76ers having the reputation of being a great defensive team, Drummond being able to bully his way to the stat line he did could be something that the Cavaliers will be missing once he is traded off of the roster.
