Cleveland Cavaliers: 7 blockbuster trades possibilities involving Kevin Love
By Tony Pesta
Trade #3:
Cavaliers receive: Andre Drummond
Pistons receive: Kevin Love
At only 24 years of age, Andre Drummond is an extremely promising player. Drummond has been to two All-star games already. Furthermore, Drummond has led the league in total rebounds twice and offensive rebounds five different times. Yes, Drummond has led the league in offensive rebounds every single season besides his rookie year.

Clearly, Drummond is a beast on the glass. He has averaged over 13 rebounds for four straight seasons. But, he is also a pretty good rim protector. For his career, Drummond blocks nearly two shots per game.
If this trade went down, it would mark the second time LeBron James has played alongside a center with multiple all-star appearances. The last time, was his first stint in Cleveland with Zydrunas Ilgauskas. It would be interesting to see how James plays next to a center such as Drummond.
Drummond would certainly fix a huge problem for the Cavaliers. They would finally have a solid rim protector. However, the Cavaliers would be greatly missing their ability to stretch the floor with shooters. Without Love or a player of his offensive capabilities, the team would struggle.
This is why there would have to be another trade or signing on the table for the Cavaliers to make this trade. Drummond for Love straight up would fix one problem, but also open up a whole other set of issues.
