#7. Game one versus the Indiana Pacers (2013)

Clutchness: 9/10

Difficulty: 6/10

Overall performance: 7/10

Average score: 7.3/10

LeBron James and the Miami Heat started this series off with a bang. After a thrilling three free throws by Paul George gave the Indiana Pacers a one-point lead, James would have the last laugh. James caught the ball on the wing and quickly blew by George. Then, James gathered the ball and laid it up just as the clock expired.

James displayed a crazy quick burst of speed as he flew to the rim. With only 2.2 seconds on the clock, James managed to drive from the three-point line all the way into the paint. This move by James left the defense frozen. This layup gave James his 30th point to go along with his 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

This shot gave Miami a crucial game one victory, in a series that went the full distance of seven games. Without this shot, it’s likely that the Heat would lose this series and change the entire course of their season.
