Ranking LeBron’s playoff game winners
By Tony Pesta
Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James has proven to be one of the most clutch players in the history of the NBA.
It appears that LeBron James has done more than enough to end the “LeBron isn’t clutch” narrative. In addition to averaging the most points per game when facing elimination, James also holds another record.
Over the course of his career, LeBron James has hit seven game-winning shots in the playoffs. Five of these shots were at the final buzzer. After nailing the final shot versus the Toronto Raptors on Saturday, James now has the most game-winning shots in NBA playoff history. James also became the first player in NBA history to hit multiple buzzer beating game winners in the same post-season.
But, which game-winning shot was the most impressive? Each one is special in its own way. Should the most difficult shot be crowned as his best? Or perhaps it’s the shot that had the biggest impact on the series. Which shot was the most clutch and which one was the most exciting?
Today, we are going to LeBron’s game winners from worst to best. We will give a score for clutchness, overall game performance, and difficulty. Whichever shot ends up with the highest average score will be ranked number one. Bonus points will also be given for celebrations/crowd reactions.
