The Ohio native and Cleveland Cavaliers’ superstar LeBron James recently gave his opinion on the Cleveland Browns 0-16 parade.

If you didn’t know by now, the Cleveland Browns ended their NFL season 0-16. The 2017 Cleveland Browns joined the 2008 Detroit Lions as the only NFL teams to finish a season 0-16. Following that underachieving season, the fans threw a parade, and LeBron James wasn’t really a fan of it.

According to Jason Lloyd of the Atheltic, LeBron said this regarding the parade:

"“I got a kick out of it,” James told The Athletic. “I can’t even sit here and say that I didn’t. You know how you see some shit and you’re like, ‘That’s not really happening, right?’ And it’s so bad that it’s laughable. So when I seen the video at Browns Stadium, I was more like, ‘I cannot believe this is actually happening.’ And it actually happened.”"

Then, according to Bleacher Report, James went on to say that “It could be worse.” James, when referring to how it could be worse, was using the same process as most other fans and analysts. The fans, even though the team has gone 1-31 in their last two seasons, still are there.

More from King James Gospel

There were eight teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, that brought in fewer fans to their stadium than the Cleveland Browns. So, while the Browns might easily be the worse team in the league, their fans still show up. A parade is demoralizing, but maybe it’s exactly what the management and front office needed to finally take this extensive losing personally.

With two picks within the top five in the upcoming NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns have the ability to get a solid, notable quarterback along with a great player to fill another of their several holes.

As for LeBron and the Cavs, he has personally been to eight straight Finals and has only recorded one losing season, his rookie season in Cleveland. The Cavs prodigy has a good point, and it’s extremely unlikely that any NBA team ever go 0-82, the embarrassment of consistently losing is still one that James has not allowed his team/fans to endure in his career.

There was quite the controversy surrounding the parade that was thrown by the fans. Several of the players eventually spoke out about it, and some even took to Twitter to voice their frustrations.

Browns’ defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah, to say the least, was not a fan of the parade. He said this about the fans throwing the parade for the team.

"That parade is a joke don’t call yourself a true browns fan if you go to that thing! Going 0-16 was embarrassing enough as a player. That is like adding fuel to the fire and it is completely wrong!"

If you’re for or against the parade, one thing remains the same: this team must do better moving forward.
