Kevin Love continues his consistent play.

Consistency has been Love’s biggest issue during his tenure in Cleveland. We’ve seen his assertiveness disappear during games many times. As a result, Love put up many seemingly incomplete stat lines. That hasn’t been the case at all this year.

Love is playing consistent basketball on a nightly basis now. Games like Thursday have become the norm, not the exception. As a result, he is putting up 19.4 points per game and career highs in effective field goal percentage (54.9%) and true shooting percentage (62.0%).

That’s not bad for a guy who is playing center consistently for the first time in his career. Or, maybe the switch to center is exactly what Love needed to force mismatches and get more open looks at the basket.
