Canton Charge put away Maine Red Claws

In what was an even more impressive two-way game for Felder, the Canton Charge defeated the Maine Red Claws 105-88.

Felder finished the contest with 30 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 4 steals. Felder finished the game shooting 11-22 from the field, 1-2 from three-point range and 7-8 from the free-throw line.

At this point, Felder must know that defenders can barely keep up with him when he plays full speed, rather than the tentative pace at which he plays when he’s in the big leagues. Felder’s ball-handling, ball-control and lateral agility allow him to create space whenever he wants. Felder rightly uses the space to get shots off from the midrange and around the rim like Kyrie Irving. Felder, who isn’t afraid to draw contact, launches himself at the rim as much as possible and it pays dividends. He draws enough attention to open up the floor for others and, though Felder can get tunnel vision at times, he has solid court vision and will hit the open man.

Defensively, Felder showed both strength and awareness in being able to rip the ball out of a player’s hands as the gather for a field goal attempt. Turnovers lead to fast breaks which Felder excels in and should continue to excel in the NBA.
