The Cleveland Cavaliers’ exclusive NBA D-League affiliate team, the Canton Charge, will be taking on the Westchester Knicks tonight as Kay Felder looks to lead the team to victory.

The Canton Charge (22-17) are taking on the Westchester Knicks (16-22) today in matinee action at home. Tipoff is set for 2:00 P.M. (EST) on Facebook Live and NBATV. Kay Felder is still on assignment from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Charge are continuing their push to the postseason.

The Charge are looking to close out this home stand with a strong win today. The Charge last night took care of business against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, as Canton won, 121-116.

Kay Felder, who is on assignment from the Cleveland Cavaliers, had 41 points (11-20 on all field goals, 6-9 from three-point range and 13-13 from the free-throw line), 5 assists, 4 steals and 1 rebound. John Holland also added in 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.

The Charge shot 49.4 percent from the field (43-87), 40.7 percent from three-point range (11-27) and 82.8 percent from the free-throw line (24-29). The Charge also had 14 turnovers and 22 assists on the night against Fort Wayne.

Probable starting lineup:

G Kay Felder, G Roosevelt Jones, F John Holland, F Jonathan Holmes, C Eric Moreland.

What to Watch For:

1.) Turnovers —- The Charge are one of the most turnover prone teams in the NBA D-League, averaging 16.5 turnovers per game. If the Charge can cut down the turnovers, they have a really good chance against a scrappy Knicks teams. The Charge need to score and not give the ball to the Knicks any time they have possession. Turnovers can kill a team at any point during the game and it can change momentum really

2.) Kay Felder —- Kay Felder is having some big games and high scoring for the Canton Charge. With Quinn Cook in Dallas, Felder has taken this team and replaced Cook’s 26.1 points per game. Felder, now is one of more explosive point guards in the NBA D-League and probably the fastest. If Felder has another huge game, like he did against Fort Wayne last night scoring 41, the Charge have a pretty good chance against Westchester. Felder, who had six turnovers last night, does need to take care of the ball. If he can keep the turnovers down and score at the high pace he’s scoring right now, every team in the D-League better watch out.
