Cleveland Cavaliers: What Andrew Bogut’s Role Might Look Like
Bogut’s Newfound Role
Even in Bogut’s time in Golden State, he still averaged over 20 minutes per game. I’d expect that to hit a new low in Cleveland.

Actually, scratch that. Without Kevin Love, Bogut will probably be used for all the backup center minutes. Channing Frye, who has averaged 19.0 minutes per game, has played 100% of his minutes at the center position according to basketball-reference. This has been a change-up for Frye, a player that started and has played the majority of his career as a power forward.
Regardless of the effect on Frye, Bogut will be getting all 19 of those minutes and more. Frye has been the guy for the Cavaliers since the Kevin Love injury. He has moved into the starting spot and excelled.
Bogut will definitely be taking a backseat to the infamous Tristan Thompson, but his minutes should stay stagnant. With the hopeful acquisition of Deron Williams, Andrew Bogut should immediately be effective playing with his former teammate.
It will be a different situation for Bogut since he will be permanently coming off of the bench, but being able to make another championship is always worth it.
