Trust

Blatt is new to the NBA. He didn’t know any of his assistant coaches before hiring them and yet they are supposed to trust each’s decision, work ethic and talent. He doesn’t know his players, opponents or referees enough to trust himself to communicate with them successfully.

Only 4 players remain from last season’s Cavs team. Kyrie Irving, Tristan Thompson and Matthew Dellavedova are the only 3 playing as Anderson Varejao is out for the season. LeBron James, James Jones and Mike Miller played together in Miami. The players not only don’t know how to play with each other, they are also learning how to trust in each other. This doesn’t include the 3 new acquisition in last weeks trades

Both trust issues related to Blatt and between the players create Cavs problems.
