Minutes

David Blatt has struggled to find regular rotations with his players. Some nights Mike Miller, James Jones or Matthew Dellavedova will play big minutes and the next game not play much at all. Against Phoenix Kevin Love sat the entire 4th quarter.

With the uncertainty of minutes players struggle to know when or how they will be expected to contribute. It also creates concerns that if they don’t perform great they will not see minutes the next game. That kind of pressure can hurt a players’ focus.

Not knowing when they are playing or how much they are playing, as well as Blatt’s seeming uncertainty with rotations is a Cavs problem.
