5. Houston Rockets (36-17)

Will they move Omer Asik before the deadline? There has been very little written or reported over the last few weeks regarding the future of the big Turk. More pressing is their apparent want for more outside shooting. Do they give the Bulls a call for Mike Dunleavy Jr?

6. Dallas Mavericks (32-22)

Much has been made of Kobe Bryant missing the All-Star game but the quietest participant may have been Dirk Nowitzki. The German master was more than happy to let the young guns take the stage Sunday. This team is ready for another “last run”.
