3.. Indiana Pacers (40-12)

The All-Star break allows a team built on pressing hard and playing to the limit of endurance take a deep breath. Defending their 2 1/2 game lead for the top seed in the East is an absolute priority.

4. Miami Heat (37-14)

The Heat are the only team we’ve been ranking up high despite maybe not playing up to that ranking. LeBron’s three-point shooting numbers have been dropping off a cliff since that early season tear and that didn’t change Sunday night.
