5. Oklahoma City Thunder (LW: 3)

Today they sit in the top five, next week things could be very different. The Thunder looked positively horrendous in the handful of games they played without Westbrook at the start of the season and were finally in a real groove offensively lately. How they handle his absence will define the top half of the Western Conference.

ORtg: 106.8, DRtg: 97.4

6. Los Angeles Clippers (LW: 7)

The Clippers have won 12 of their last 14 home games but are 8-9 on the road. I read a Twitter debate on whether Blake Griffin is as good as or better than LaMarcus Aldridge or Kevin Love in the Power Forward rankings. CBS Sports’ Joe Polito (@JoePo89) said it best: “You don’t fear him with the ball in his hands like you do the other two.”

ORtg: 106.3, DRtg: 100.3
