NBA Power Rankings: Week Seven
By Peter Owen
7. Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers have been, in a word, disappointing lately. They’ve lost the excitement factor that made them must-watch this season and seem to have been hit exceptionally hard by the loss of J.J. Redick. Chris Paul did have one of the standout performances this season with 38 points on just 14 shot attempts to go with 12 assists.
ORtg: 105.8, DRtg: 100.8
8. Denver Nuggets
Remember when Denver were languishing near the bottom of the rankings and the conference standings? No more. They did lose a strange one to the Jazz this week when Utah caught fire offensively. They recovered well, knocking off New Orleans in their next contest.
ORtg: 104.5, DRtg: 101.6
