NBA Teams That Should/Shouldn’t Be Worried

The Brooklyn Nets
What We Expected: Dark horse contenders!
What We’ve Seen: I harp on this a lot but a team that looks good on paper is often a mangled tortured mess on the court. The early returns aren’t looking bright, as Brooklyn looks just as disheveled and schizophrenic as they did last season. I guess if they could just get the Phoenix Joe Johnson, the Minnesota Kevin Garnett, and turn the clock back a bit on both Pierce and and Kirilenko then they’d have a pretty damn fun and scary team. As it is, they are neither fun nor scary. Hey, remember when people used to wonder if Chris Paul or Deron Williams was the best point guard in the league? What an innocent time!
In One Month: They will tread water and win some games big, but they will never seem remotely dangerous. They are the new Atlanta Hawks, a team created for a second round flameout.
