Game 2: Memphis Grizzlies 91, Los Angeles Clippers 93 (Playoffs)
Highlights: hockey-assisted Marc Gasol dunk, floater, bounce pass to Marc Gasol for midrange jumper, alley-oop to Tony Allen, lay-up in traffic, clutch defensive rebound, jump-pass to Marc Gasol for game-tying dunk
Game Score: 22.0
Box Score: 28 points (9-18 field goals, 1-5 three-pointers, 9-13 free throws), 3 rebounds, 9 assists (3 turnovers), 2 steals (4 fouls) in 44 minutes (+3)
Story: There are two versions of good Mike Conley: selective Conley and aggressive Conley. With the Grizzlies attempting to steal homecourt against their archrivals, the latter showed up, keeping pace with Chris Paul. Conley was particularly good at the end of the game, securing a crucial defensive rebound and assisting on the tying bucket. If Paul’s go-ahead shot wasn’t a buzzer-beater, there’s a good chance this game heads to overtime.
