Memphis Grizzlies 103, Cleveland Cavaliers 92
Highlights: hesitation lay-up, steal, transition and-1,
Game Score: 21.6
Box Score: 17 points (6-10 field goals, 1-2 three-pointers, 4-5 free throws), 11 assists (3 turnovers), 5 steals, 1 block (2 fouls) in 34 minutes (+21)
Story: Conley exploited the Cavaliers’ leaky defense to both score for himself and set up teammates. The absence of Zach Randolph gave Mike Conley an out to shoot more, but he let Jerry Bayless eat up those attempts while simply making more of the shots he did take. If Conley doesn’t quite step up for clashes with more popular lead guards, he certainly doesn’t shy away.
