Story: Post play is often compared to wrestling but in Randolph’s case, it’s not a figure of speech, especially when he boxes out. Randolph doesn’t jump too high, so instead he pins guys who can. Randolph chipped in his usual work on the offensive glass on another poor shooting night for the Grizzlies. Additionally, he led Memphis in True Shooting and Offensive Rating. Randolph doesn’t typically attempt free throws in bulk, but he cashes in when he gets to the stripe like he did tonight. Randolph’s one steal showed his surprising quickness, as he reached around to intercept a pass for Blake Griffin. Knowing he couldn’t secure it completely, he threw it ahead, hard, and Mike Conley picked it up for a lay-up.
