Game 25: New Orleans Hornets 96, Golden State Warriors 103
Highlights: pump fake and lay-up in traffic, pump fake and baseline spin lay-up, no look bounce pass to cutting Festus Ezeli, backdoor dunk
Game Score: 23.2
Box Score: 26 points (10-16 field goals, 6-7 free throws), 9 rebounds (3 offensive), 4 assists (2 turnovers), 1 steal, 1 block (4 fouls) in 38 minutes (+2)
Story: On a night the other starters struggled, Lee and the bench saved the day. Neither he nor rookie Anthony Davis could guard each other, and Davis did grab five offensive boards, though Lee had three of his own. Lee is ideally a third or fourth option, but he’s a guy who can step up in a pinch and clearly did so this night. Lee’s not an explosive athlete or a banger down low, but his herky-jerky face up game and touch around the rim enabled him draw a good volume of fouls as well as finish.
