Game 27: Charlotte Bobcats 100, Golden State Warriors 115
Highlights: pick and roll and-1, transition putback in traffic, baseline dunk from Draymond Green dump-off, no look behind the back bounce pass for dunk, baseline dunk from Steph Curry dump-off, behind the back pass for Steph Curry 3
Game Score: 26.4
Box Score: 23 points (11-16 field goals, 1-1 free throw), 11 rebounds (6 offensive), 11 assists (2 turnovers), 3 fouls in 34 minutes (+9)
Story: Lee recorded a triple-double in fewer minutes than his average. Once again, he pounded the Bobcats on the offensive glass, grabbing six. Lee was able to abuse the Bobcats front line one on one, sucking defenders in an extra step to help or at least forcing them to ball watch, freeing perimeter shooters. Lee made plays out of the low post, the high post, and even behind the arc despite being a threat to neither shoot nor pass from there. Stationing Lee there enables him to see the whole floor, and in terms of the ability to complete passes (vs. court vision), Lee is possibly the Warrior’s second best passer, which was on display in Oakland this particular night. (Note: Lee recorded the same Game Score in the game above, just two days earlier).
