The Washington Wizards –  Sorry, Laker fans. John Wall has developed a jumper that he can hit from one or two areas of the floor which takes care of the one glaring weakness in his game, which is part of the reason why the Wizards went from being 5-27 without him in the lineup to 24-25 with him. He has fantastic defensive instincts, is easily one of the most athletic players in the NBA and is among the best at finishing around the rim. Now that he is showing signs of having a consistent jumper all the pieces are in place for him to take that step to the next level. When he takes that step, he’ll have a trusty sidekick in young Bradley Beal who recovered from a very rocky start to put up solid numbers in January, February and March before going down with an injury. It’s probably not a coincidence that his improved play coincided with the return of Wall, which gives the Wizards good reason to be optimistic going into next season.

Key Stats:

John Wall – 15.6%(winning percentage without him in 2012-13), 49%(winning percentage with him in 2012-13)

Bradley Beal – 48.4%(his three point field goal percentage from January onward)
