The Los Angeles Lakers: I was just going to leave them off the list entirely because nobody really knows how middle-aged Steve Nash and old post-Achilles injury Kobe Bryant are going to play next year, but I didn’t want to deal with upset Laker fans so they get to be near the bottom. Kobe was surprisingly good last year considering his age and the mileage on his body As the season wore on his performance fell off a little bit, and as he pushed himself to the limit during the Lakers’ playoff push, his body betrayed him. Kobe is really a big question mark, as nobody really knows how a man who has logged as many minutes and played through as many injuries as Kobe has will recover from an Achilles injury. Kobe is joined by fellow 1996 draftee Steve Nash, who is finally starting to show his age on the court.

Key Stats:

Steve Nash – 32 games missed due to injury, 39 years old, career low PER of 16.0

Kobe Bryant – 34 years old, 1 Achilles tear, 6+ months of rehab
