Target No. 3 – Cole Anthony

This one might be a stretch, I know. However, considering that Cole Anthony is on the last year of his deal until he reaches unrestricted free agency, the Orlando Magic might trade him this season. He is only 23 years old, so he’s still really young and can still become a great NBA player.

But, considering that the Magic just drafted Anthony Black sixth overall, already have Markelle Fultz on the roster, as well as spending the fifth overall pick on Jalen Suggs in the 2021 NBA Draft, the space for all of those guards is not there. That’s four guards that can all be starting guards on their roster, but only two of them can start. Getting rid of Cole Anthony might have to be the choice for Orlando.

Maybe a deal surrounding one of either Ricky Rubio or Dean Wade and a few second-round picks could get the deal done, depending on if Orlando even wants to shop Anthony.

Cole Anthony averaged 13.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game last season for the Magic, playing in 60 games. He was primarily the sixth man, as he only started four games last season. He shot 45.4 percent from the field, which was the first time in his career he shot over 40 percent from the field in a season.

Now Cleveland does not have to make any trades, but looking at the players who have lower value to their respective teams could be a good idea. I do not expect the Cavaliers to make a trade anytime soon, unless it is absolutely necessary.
