History has been made, as the Denver Nuggets have won their first NBA championship in the history of their franchise. Nikola Jokic led his team to a win against the Miami Heat, to secure the series in a 4-1 victory as of Monday night. Now with the 2022-23 season officially over, the real work begins. This offseason has the potential to be another pivotal one in the career of Koby Altman, as well as the trajectory of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It’s no secret to anyone that the Cavs came up short against the New York Knicks in the playoffs. However, it does not seem like an appropriate time to hit the panic button. Cleveland has an exciting future ahead of them, and the front office should do everything they can to build around the core of Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen. One place the Cavs ought to look this year is free agency to bring in some much needed wings.

While there are some prominent wings potentially on the market this offseason, Cleveland should place their focus on some younger free agents to develop and grow with the team, to some degree for depth.

Throughout this piece we will look at three young wings, ages 26 and under, that the Cavs should take a flier on in this upcoming free agency. Let’s get the ball rolling with a wing from the Los Angeles Lakers.
