The Cavaliers and Nets are running it back after the Cavs took the win on Tuesday, 115-109 in Brooklyn and there is a lot that we can learn from that matchup to bet the prop market in this one. The Cavaliers need to rebound the ball better or else Brooklyn could steal the second game of this two-game set.

Here are my three favorite props for the Cavs and Nets on Thursday.

Cavaliers vs. Nets Best NBA Prop Bets

  • Nicolas Claxton double double (+170)
  • Jarrett Allen over 10.5 rebounds (-105)
  • Mikal Bridges under 23.5 points (-115)

Nicolas Claxton double double (+170)

The Nets are not a good rebounding team and yet they dominated on the board on Tuesday with a 49-34 rebound advantage. Day’Ron Sharpe did a lot of that damage off the bench with 20 points and 11 boards, but Claxton had 13 points and eight rebounds. You might expect some regression, especially with Claxton going against Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley, but the Cavs have the worst defensive rebounding percentage in the league in March.

Jarrett Allen over 10.5 rebounds (-105)

So, the Cavs can’t rebound lately, but that’s not because of Allen. He’s still a monster inside and grabbed 14 boards on Tuesday. He’s averaging 9.5 rebounds in March, but nobody else on the Cavs had more than five boards on Tuesday and I think Allen will need to grab 14 or 15 rebounds for the Cavs to win this one.

Mikal Bridges under 23.5 points (-115)

Isaac Okoro had zero points on Tuesday, but he played 20 minutes and got the start for a reason. He’s a great on ball defender and the Cavs held Mikal Bridges to just 18 points in that one. They have a lot of length that will be able to bother the Nets new primary scoring option.
