3 players the Cavaliers should trade for this offseason

Cavaliers trade target No. 2: Alex Caruso, Chicago Bulls
While the Cavs signed Ricky Rubio to a three-year deal last offseason, his return from the torn ACL he suffered last season has not been smooth. Rubio is averaging five points per game (PPG) and three assists per game (APG), while having 32/29/75 shooting splits. The Cavs should look to replace Rubio this offseason with Alex Caruso.
Caruso does not wow you with his scoring, as he is only averaging six PPG. What matters though is that he is efficient, as his shooting splits are 44/38/79 this season and he is shooting 39% on catch-and-shoot threes this season.
However, Caruso’s calling card is his defense and his knack for creating turnovers. He is in the 98th percentile when it comes to creating steals and ranks seventh in the league in steals per game. The Cavs need a high-level defensive point guard off the bench and while Rubio is solid in that regard, Caruso does it at an elite level. This will take the Cavs defense to another level and add a desperately needed piece to the rotation.
Trade Proposal:
Cavs receive: Alex Caruso and Terry Taylor
Bulls receive: Ricky Rubio, Cedi Osman, 2024 second-round pick and 2026 second-round pick
