The Cleveland Cavaliers are on the road again on Thursday, looking to pick up a win against the Portland Trail Blazers, who could be without Damian Lillard (questionable) in this game.

I previewed this game here, but if you’re looking to back specific Cavs players tonight, betting on some props is the way to go, especially with this latest offer from BetMGM:

Cavaliers vs. Blazers best NBA prop bets today

  • Evan Mobley OVER 7.5 Rebounds
  • Darius Garland OVER 19.5 Points
  • Cavs 1Q Moneyline vs. Blazers

Evan Mobley OVER 7.5 Rebounds

Evan Mobley is averaging 8.8 rebounds per game this season, and he’s cleared 7.5 rebounds in 12 of his 18 games since the start of December.

The Cavs big man has actually seen his rebounding dip over that 18-game stretch (8.6 per game) despite clearing this prop 67 percent of the time.

The Blazers are a solid rebounding team, but this prop should be set at 8.5 for Mobley, so I’ll gladly take the value at 7.5 on Thursday night.

Darius Garland OVER 19.5 Points

Darius Garland is averaging 21.4 points per game this season, and he has been hot scoring the ball as of late.

Garland has gone OVER 19.5 points in five of his last seven games, including a 46-point game against the Brooklyn Nets in late December.

After missing three games in a row, Garland has cleared 20 points in three straight. Back him against the Blazers tonight.

Cavs 1Q Moneyline vs. Blazers

The Blazers are one of the worst first-quarter teams in the NBA this season, ranking 20th in net rating in the opening quarter.

Now, Portland may be without Lillard in this game, which is going to make it tough for an offense that ranks in the bottom 10 in the league in points per game.

Cleveland is 12th in the NBA in first quarter net rating, and I think the Cavs come out firing on Thursday after a bad loss to the Utah Jazz on Tuesday.
