1 stud and 1 dud for Cavs from their loss on Tuesday to the Jazz

Cavs dud: Kevin Love
Kevin Love has not had a tremendous stretch here of late for the Cavs, and on Tuesday night, he didn’t have it going.
At Utah, Love was three-of-12 from the field, and shot just zero-of-four from beyond the arc. There were a number of quality looks which Love can typically knock down with ease, but in recent games, they just haven’t gone down as he looks to re-find his rhythm.
He’s shot only 18.2 percent from deep in his last four games, which has obviously not been nearly what one would expect from him. Love is getting clean looks and not long ago, had been in a nice groove, as he’s typically been in when healthy this season, for the most part.
Also, while Allen not being in there didn’t help, and he’s going to be limited, anyhow, Love was particularly ineffective defensively on Tuesday night. He was a plus-four, but there were a few instances where he was very slow rotating, if at all, and there were sequences at times when he should’ve contested with high hands and didn’t seem to.
It wasn’t a great game from Love in this last one, and he’ll need to rebound shooting-wise in upcoming contests to pair with his usually consistent rebounding.
If the looks come for Love, though, he has to take them, and this isn’t too concerning, in my opinion.
