The Cleveland Cavaliers are in Utah on Tuesday night, as Donovan Mitchell plays his first game in Utah against the Jazz since being traded this past offseason.
There’s a way to bet on Mitchell alone in this game, by taking a player prop for him!
There’s a great opportunity from BetMGM if you bet on this game, so why don’t we place some props to make it even better?

Cavaliers vs. Jazz best NBA prop bets
- Donovan Mitchell UNDER 29.5 Points
- Jarred Vanderbilt OVER 7.5 Rebounds
- Darius Garland OVER 7.5 Assists
Donovan Mitchell UNDER 29.5 Points
Yes, Donovan Mitchell has a revenge game here, but he’s cleared 29.5 points just four times in his last 13 games.
The Jazz are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA, but I imagine they key in on Mitchell in this matchup in an attempt to keep this game close.
The Cavs star can still have a good game, but asking him to score 30+, something he’s done 16 times in 36 games, may be a little much.
Jarred Vanderbilt OVER 7.5 Rebounds
Jarred Vanderbilt has been a beast on the glass for the Jazz, averaging 8.1 rebounds per game and clearing this line in six of his last seven games.
Vanderbilt should see a few more minutes with Kelly Olynyk listed as out for this game, and he’s one of the team’s better options to defend Evan Mobley, so I expect him to have a major role.
I think 7.5 rebounds at -105 is a value line for the Jazz forward tonight.
Darius Garland OVER 7.5 Assists
Darius Garland is averaging 7.8 assists per game this season, going over 7.5 dimes in eight of his last 11 games.
As I mentioned earlier, Utah ranks 27th in the NBA in defensive rating, so Garland should be able to open up some easy looks for his teammates in this game.
At even money, Garland is also a value play on this prop, especially if the Cavs don’t run away with this game, meaning he’d have to play big minutes.
