While NBA teams are allowed to trade players throughout the start of the season, it’s rare for teams to make moves early in the season. The Cleveland Cavaliers were one of the few exceptions when they were a part of the James Harden four-team trade two years ago. Still, generally speaking, teams spend the first weeks of the year evaluating their own teams before looking to make changes.
As such, December 15 marks the transition point in trade season. As such, Bleacher Report created a list of three trade targets for every team in the league. These aren’t players linked to those teams necessarily by insider reporting, but rather players rumored to be available that could be a fit for each team.
