The NBA is in the quietest part of its year, with Free Agency slowing to a crawl and most players and personnel taking vacations. The Cleveland Cavaliers have been quiet too, with essentially no activity since signing their trio of free agents back in early July.

What is ramping up is the NFL season, and the city of Cleveland – all of northern Ohio, in fact – is buzzing about the Browns. Training Camp is underway, a number of new players are preparing to debut, and hope is once again blooming among the many hardcore fans.

These are elite athletes, by the way, even if it’s somewhat unrealistic to change sports so drastically. Let’s do it anyway, and start with the most important position in football.
