#3: Ochai Agbaji

The first player that could end the year as a top-three shooter for the Cleveland Cavaliers is Ochai Agbaji. This may be a tall task for Agbaji as he is coming into his rookie season, however, when looking at his collegiate numbers, he is more than capable of making an immediate impact from deep. Agbaji improved every season from three in his four years at Kansas.

He shot 30.7% from three in his freshman year, 33.8% his sophomore season, 37.7% his junior year, and 40.8% in his final campaign with the Jayhawks. Coming into the draft, Agbaji was considered to be one of the best three-and-D players in the class along with being one of the most NBA-ready players.

As long as he does not run into much trouble transitioning from the college three-point line to the NBA’s, look for him to make an immediate impact for the Cavaliers along with being a sniper from the start.

It would not be outlandish to believe that Agbaji could finish his rookie season shooting 36-37% on a notable volume, as the season wears on at least. There will likely be a slight drop off from his senior year of college due to the three-point line change from NCAA to NBA, but, there should not be a significant decrease.
