Goal #2: Average 18 points per game for the Cavs

The first thing that Evan Mobley can achieve to continue growing as a player is to average 18 points per game. This is a very achievable goal and something that is likely to happen as long as he is still featured the same if not more in the Cavs offense next season.

There are a couple of easy ways in which Mobley can achieve this goal. The first is to improve his free throw percentage. This is an area in which Mobley struggled last season. He finished the year shooting only 66.3% from the line. If he is able to get that number closer to 70-75% from the field, that alone may be enough to get him very close to the 18 points per game goal.

The second thing that will get Mobley to that goal will be improving his three-point percentage as well. Mobley was a dominating force in the paint in his rookie season, however, as a shooter from deep in catch-and-shoot plays, he struggled. Last season, he shot only 25% from three on only 1.3 attempts per game. If he continues attempting threes and working on that area of his game, which he’s been over the course of the offseason, he will easily achieve 18 points per game.
