The NBA Draft is a time of hope for fans of all the league’s downtrodden lottery teams, left out in the cold while the more successful teams played in the playoffs. The Cleveland Cavaliers were just barely one of those teams, picking Kansas wing Ochai Agbaji with the very last pick in the lottery.

The time of hope for the league’s fringe basketball players, then, is the NBA Summer League. While the aforementioned draft picks get to stretch their wings, players hoping to impress enough to get invited to training camp will ball out in Las Vegas. That includes those wearing “Cavs” across their chest.

Las Vegas Summer League kicks off this week, and the Cleveland Cavaliers will be taking part. Who is playing for the Cavs in the desert this year?

The Cavs will play at least five games in Vegas Summer League this year, with a mixture of new faces and return guests from past years. While many second-year players will be suiting up, the Cavs’ sophomore big Evan Mobley will be sitting this one out, having already proven to be a dynamic impact player.

That leaves 13 other players to fill the roster and try to prove themselves on the court. Who will be playing on the Cavaliers’ Summer League roster? Who is worth knowing, and who is likely to get a one-way ticket to another sports league?
