Somewhat suddenly, after months of speculation but mere days after the end of the NBA Finals, the official start of NBA Free Agency is upon us. Starting at 6:00pm ET tonight teams will begin taking their tampering negotiations into the light, and the Cleveland Cavaliers will leap into the fray along with the other 29 teams.

Plenty of activity has happened already, with a number of bigtime trades going down this week. Dejounte Murray is now in Atlanta, Monte Morris and Will Barton are in Washington, and Jalen Brunson’s mom is embroidering “Knicks” into all of his clothes.

NBA Free Agency is about to begin. What burning questions loom for the Cavs as they look to manage and improve their roster?

Things have been quiet for the Cavs the last few days, but it will likely take off with a bang this evening. Last year the Cavs and Jarrett Allen agreed to a deal almost instantaneously. Then there was quite some time before the Lauri Markkanen deal went down, and of course negotiations with Collin Sexton on an extension stretched all the way to and past the deadline in October.

Is there another player already lined up for Cleveland? What about the players on their own team, like re-signing Collin Sexton or extending Darius Garland? Let’s tackle some of these burning questions ahead of the official start of free agency.
