#3: T.J. Warren

Scoring was an issue for the Cavs wing players last season. If he’s healthy, adding T.J. Warren would extinguish that problem and then some.

Warren has only played four games in the last two seasons due to stress fractures in his foot. Although he has since recovered, his market in free agency might be up in the air. He’s a talented player, but the injury history might scare some teams away.

However, signing Warren could be the perfect move for the Cavs. He should come at a low cost and he could prove to be one of the most efficient scorers on the team. Warren can get buckets in a variety of ways and could be considered one of the leagues’ true, three-level scorers.

In 2019-20, his last full season, Warren averaged 19.8 points per game on 53.6% shooting from the field and 40.3% from deep. He screams efficiency, something the Cavs could desperately use from a player with size on the perimeter.

He has some inconsistencies on defense, but when he’s locked in on that end, he has the ability to shut down opposing players on the perimeter at times. He’s generally alright on that end, anyway.

His injuries might concern some, but he took the proper precautions. He was ready to go for the end of last season, but the Pacers felt it was in both of their best interests to keep him on the sidelines.

Signing Warren would give the roster some major upside. Every player in the rotation could make opposing teams pay in a variety of ways.
