Milwaukee Bucks. Kennedy Chandler. 24. player. 89. . Guard

The Milwaukee Bucks need an on-ball creator in the backcourt to help drive offense when Krue Holiday is off the court. Donte DiVincenzo was that guy before his injury, but last season the combination of a hobble DiVincenzo, an aged George Hill and a collection of end-of-bench guys were unable to provide the playmaking that the Bucks needed behind Holiday.

Kennedy Chandler is small, which doesn’t really fit the Bucks’ philosophy, but he is dynamic with the ball in his hands and can create his own shot. He will need to develop quite a bit defensively to be trusted for postseason minutes, but the upside is there to get a starting-caliber point guard out of this pick.

25. player. 29. . Forward. San Antonio Spurs. Jake LaRavia

One of two teams with three first-round picks, the San Antonio Spurs have a chance to really build out their young core to try and continue competing with coach Gregg Popovich. This mock draft has seen them add an elite shooter in A.J. Griffin and a wing creator in Dalen Terry. Jake LaRavia is their third pick, the kind of skilled player the Spurs have historically excelled at developing. His combination of shooting and off-ball movement set him up for a long career as a role player.

Christian Braun. 26. player. 79. . Wing. Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks know what they want to do. They want to go 5-out with Luka Doncic running the show and then defend with toughness at the other end. They have a lot of pieces already in place for that strategy, but they need wings and they need a rim-protecting center to rotate in at times. Here they go for a wing in Christian Braun, who will work tirelessly and fit right in alongside absolute workers like Dorian Finney-Smith.
