The Cleveland Cavaliers are no longer in the slog of the season, scouting opponents to scheme up various ways to attack and defend them. Instead the Cavs have shifted into offseason mode, evaluating their team and looking ahead to potential improvements in the draft and free agency.

Yet the book is not closed on those players they could possibly look to acquire this summer. Some pending free agents are still playing on playoff teams, some in prominent roles. That means plenty of recent information is still to be gleaned, including the ever-important intel on how a player performs in the fires of playoff basketball.

The Cavs want to add proven playoff players in free agency. Which pending free agents who are still alive in the NBA postseason should the Cavs be watching?
