Post-All-Star break play is underway with the Cleveland Cavaliers looking to end the regular season off on a high note. A win against the Washington Wizards ended a 3-game skid for the Cavaliers and with a Milwaukee Bucks loss, the Wine and Gold are back up to the fourth seed.

The Cavaliers got some unfortunate news over the course of this week as injuries to Darius Garland, Rajon Rondo, and Caris LeVert has them missing games. LeVert’s injury is a foot sprain that reportedly occurred during practice while Rondo’s injury occurred in the Cavs’ loss to the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night. As of Thursday, LeVert was expected to miss 1-2 weeks, and as of Friday, Rondo was expected to miss about 2 weeks. These aren’t serious injuries looking onward, though.

Garland’s back continues to nag him and him sitting out of games seems to be load management. Missing the last two games comes after Garland played in the final two games before the All-Star break as well as logging 24 minutes for Team LeBron which has people raising eyebrows about his status.

With how tight the Eastern Conference race is, the Cavs will need all hands on deck. Garland, LeVert, and Rondo should all be back pretty soon it seems but concerns are validated.

There are many questions surrounding the Cavs right now but with the buyout deadline creeping up, the first question should be in regards to how content the team is with the current players on the roster.
