The Cleveland Cavaliers are once again weathering the storm with multiple key pieces in-and-out of the lineup. Lauri Markkanen has missed ten straight games with an ankle injury, while Darius Garland missed five of the Cavs’ last seven games with a lower back injury. Yet even so the Cavs are continuing to win, 4-1 in their last five and 15-6 since January 1st.

One game remains before the All-Star Break for the Cavs, who will be hosting the festivities in Cleveland. It will be a well-earned break for one of the surprise teams of the year, going from deep in the lottery to home-court advantage in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Cavs play the Atlanta Hawks Tuesday night in their final game before the All-Star Break. What do you need to know about who is playing and how to bet?

In many ways, the Cavs are mirroring the leap the Atlanta Hawks made last season, although without the early-season stumbling. Atlanta went from lottery to the Conference Finals, a path the Cavs would love to take. This season has been much more difficult for the Hawks, however, and they sit just 26-30, clinging to 10th place and the final spot in the play-in tournament.

The Hawks have been playing better of late, and are 9-5 in their last 14 games. Can the Cavs end the first part of the season on a high note, or will they stumble looking ahead to the break? Here are the betting odds, a preview and how you should bet on the Cavs and Hawks’ third showdown of the year.
