Personally, I love dogs. If you don’t, well then, that’s unfortunate and you may not enjoy this piece.
Cavs big man Kevin Love is also a dog lover. He and his fiance Kate Bock have a dog named Vestry, who you can find on Instagram (@vestryvizsla) and on Love’s personal Instagram as well. However, after the ugly win over the Pelicans last night, we found out that Kevin Love not only played a key role in the Cavs’ comeback last night, but he’s also a hero.
The Cavs’ Kevin Love is playing like a hero on the court. This week he was also a hero off the court when he found an injured dog
When Love was leaving Cleveland Clinic’s court around 2:00 PM on Monday, he spotted a dog lying in the road, crushed and bleeding. He immediately pulled up to the dog and blocked off all cars from potentially hitting it again. Fortunately, the dog was alive, and we learned that she was a miniature pinscher named Harley, who was an emotional support dog for a man named Bob Flor Jr. He had owned the dog for eight years.
So thankful Harley made it safely back home ♥️♥️♥️ https://t.co/aTWBA6MhoE

In the end, Harley found her way home. She suffered four broken ribs, an eye injury, and also lost two teeth, but is expected to make a full recovery. She was very important for Flor Jr.
"“I don’t know what I would do without her. I mean, she keeps me company, cries when I’m not around, that’s it. The love of my life.”Bob Flor Jr. (P.J. Ziegler Fox 8)"
Love was still angry at the thought of someone running over a dog and driving away. However, as you can see above, he was happy to see Harley found her way home.
As for his play on the court, last night Love was 6-for-15 from the field and finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. In his new role coming off the bench, he’s been great. There’s an outside chance he could be a contender for the Sixth Man of the Year Award.
