Oh how the tables have turned. Just three months ago, sports fans in Cleveland were looking forward to what was supposed to be a historic season down at First Energy Stadium. However, after losing to AFC North rival Baltimore 16-10 on Sunday Night Football, the Browns fell to 6-6 on the season. Nobody would have thought that this would be the case heading into the fall and winter seasons.

Now sitting in 10th place in the Eastern Conference at 10-10 on the season, it is indeed the Cleveland Cavaliers that people are excited about right now. Evan Mobley returned from his sprained elbow on Saturday night and scored thirteen points and swatted a ridiculous four blocks. Darius Garland looked good as well. However, with all that being said, the Cavs would be barely in the play-in if they started tonight. It’s still pretty likely the Cavs end up picking in the lottery again in 2022.

Since the Cavs could still end up in the lottery, which prospects should they keep an eye on in the ACC / Big Ten Challenge?

While picking in the lottery means they miss the playoffs, which is not a good thing, there are a lot of prospects out there this season that could help the Cavs possibly make that final jump to contention in the Eastern Conference moving forward. During the early weeks we’ve taken a look at Peyton Watson out of UCLA, Caleb Houstan out of Michigan, and many more.

However, this week there are bragging rights on the line in the ACC / Big Ten Challenge. 14 games between the two conferences will mean plenty of opportunities to see prospects playing top competition. So while we’re at it let’s take a look at some of the prospects to watch this week.
