#3: (4) Villanova vs (2) UCLA (Friday, Nov. 12) (11:30 PM ET, ESPN2)

Well, the first top five matchup of the year will take place at Pauley Pavillion this Friday. Jay Wright and his Wildcats will travel to Los Angeles this Friday to take on UCLA.

The Bruins return Johnny Juzang and Tyger Campbell from last year’s Final Four team. However, the player that Cavs fans may want to watch is Peyton Watson.

He’s a 6-foot-8 wing player, with an incredibly explosive repertoire. He’s lethal in transition, and will be able to power past people at the college level. Although, he is still quick without the ball, and could become a great NBA defender. He needs to develop his shot more, and extend his range, but if he has a good season, he could be on the Cavaliers radar early.

As for Villanova, they are not known for producing elite NBA players, even though Mikal Bridges made a small case during the playoffs last year. However, a guy to watch in this matchup will be Collin Gillespie.

The graduate senior is the leader on the court and in the locker room as well. It’s probable that he doesn’t get drafted, but he could be a nice pickup if he goes undrafted.

Villanova guards always have great fundamentals, and have a great mind for basketball. Gillespie is no different.
