Cavs: How many Cavaliers players will make NBA’s Top 75 Team? – The Locks

LeBron James is the surest of locks here, and while the NBA is not ranking its selections, if they did James would find himself a lock for Top 3. Many would likely place him first on the list. James has made 17 All-NBA teams, won four titles and four MVP awards. He ranks third in total points, but also in the top-15 of career assists, steals and 3-pointers.

Shaquille O’Neal is another lock for the team, especially when he made the NBA’s Top 50 list in 1996 after playing just four seasons in the league. The Big Diesel played 53 games for the Cavs back in 2010 near the end of his career. During his prime O’Neal won four titles and one MVP, and was a 14-time All-NBA selection.

Finally, Walt “Clyde” Frazier was a two-time champion with the iconic New York Knicks teams of the 1970s. He made six All-NBA teams and seven All-Defensive teams, and his personality helped to keep fans connected to the NBA during a period of wavering attention in the 1970s. At the end of his career Frazier went from the Knicks to the Cavs, but injuries limited him to just 66 games across three seasons before he retired.
